The maple sugar season is more than just a few weeks in springtime. Since the 19th century, in Quebeckers’ heart, it has been the time of the year during which family and friends come to together, to celebrate and enjoy a good meal.

Whether it is in town, for a few weeks period or well anchored for 50 years at the end of a country road in Saint-Thomas’ village, the sugar shack remains an emblematic place and a symbol of our traditions. Le temps des sucres invites you to recall the story of this gathering and festive place, one that reflects our Quebec culture.
